Chris Anderson is an award winning Australian-based interdisciplinary artist and designer. He is renowned for founding the Ecto Handplanes bodysurfing product/brand and his epic 1000 Surfboard Graveyard project.

He also creates experimental audio-visual projections for the Yours & Owls festivals including musicians such as; Jamie XX, Cloud Control, The Living End, Thelma Plum, Safia, Gang of Youths, The Preachers, Parkside DJs, Sticky Fingers, DZ Death Rays, Yacht Club DJs, Los Tones.

Chris's often colourful works explore surf culture, minimalism, attitudes towards waste, technological innovation, patterns, hyper-consumerism, and the possibilities of reusing objects through creative transformation.


Qualifications
Chris Anderson studied Graphic Design & Media Arts for four years.
2010 Bachelor of Creative Arts (Dean’s Scholar) from The University of Wollongong.
2011 Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours First Class) from The University of Wollongong.
