Live projections mapped onto Wollongong Town Hall with Zender Bender. Commissioned by the Wollongong City Council as part of the Nocturnal Arts program aimed activating the Wollongong Arts Precinct after dark.

A live silent disco performance developed in residence at Riversdale at Bundanon Trust for Siteworks 2015 in collaboration with the experimental media arts collective, ZENDER BENDER. With one set of headphones the audience could choose tunes from three audio channels while the flamboyant junk recyclers lit the discarded white goods with a digital frenzy of projected colour and pattern. An energetic and bright burrowing into feral phenomenons of illegal dumping, hyper-consumerism and scrap economies in Nowra.

"One of my most memorable images was the crowd experiencing Dump Disco. They were immersed in the work - the white goods dump transformed, the youthful energy and confidence of the performers, the energising images, the soundscapes and, with each other. Some two hours later when we left for Bundanon ZENDER BENDER were still going strong with the crowd dancing on and particularly one boy drumming on a box, animated by the images dancing to the sounds. He was totally transfixed as I was by him."
